Meet Retna A. Billano, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Dr. Retna A. Billano is a board-certified dermatologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is also a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Billano is a proud member of the Alabama Dermatologist Society and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She is a consultant with Grandview Medical Center.
Dr. Billano's extensive expertise, unique background, and life experience give her a distinct dermatology perspective. She combines her passion for beauty and medicine to tailor each consultation to meet the patient's goals and health benefits. Recognized for her exceptional work, Dr. Billano is a Diamond Partner, an honor awarded to the country's top five percent of Botox and filler injectors.
Having completed her dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Dr. Billano is dedicated to welcoming new patients at Heights Dermatology and Aesthetics.

Meet Alden Jenkins, PA-C
We’re thrilled to welcome Alden Jenkins, PA-C, to the Heights Dermatology & Aesthetics family!
Alden is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from UAB and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Auburn University. She’s certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is an active member of the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals.
Alden sees patients for a wide range of general dermatology needs — from routine skin checks to chronic conditions — and brings expertise, compassion, and a personalized approach to every visit.
Originally from Birmingham, Alden is excited to return to her hometown after several years of practicing in Huntsville. She’s passionate about providing compassionate care and building strong, lasting relationships with her patients.
When she’s not in the office, Alden stays busy with her husband, Jonathan, and their two young sons. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring new places with her family.
